Builds that actually warrant the use of a pet?
Trying to find a build that will allow me to use a pet without feeling overly gimped.
After the update, I threw this together, comments?
[build=OgEAQ8g8W4GLFzSgFbG0GA]
11 Hammer/10+1+2 Expertise/10+1 Beastmastery

[build name="Spike as One" prof=R/A Dagger=12 Expertise=8+1 Beast=10+1+1 PvP][Strike as One][Iron Palm][Falling Spider][Trampling Ox][Falling Lotus Strike][Twisting Fangs][Lightning Reflexes][Charm Animal][/build]
I didn't think it was so great after I made it, but this is pretty much what I thought when I saw the skill change.
Also, posting the OP's build with individual skills + atts.
[build name="Thump as One" prof=R/W Hammer=11 Expertise=10+1+2 Beast=10+1 PvE][Never Rampage Alone][Strike as One][Scavenger Strike][Hammer Bash][Bestial Mauling][Crushing Blow][Charm Animal][Comfort Animal][/build]

meh if only Strike as One wasn't elite...
[Wastrel's Collapse][Strike as One] followed with [Bestial Mauling][Falling Spider]etc. etc. would be awesome
but anyway SaO is useless in PvE (which I assume you're in since you're using NRA)
in PvP I can't really see a use for it... there are probably some gimmicks in A/R or R/A but pretty much all of those will be better on an A/x using an Assassin elite..

Yeah. Useless is what I figured... but I like to put the new Elite skills to use whenever I can.

BHA in pve does pretty well with a bet, when ranger AND pet wail on a dazed target there's less chance the target gets a spell off.

Yeah I definitely agree.
To Op: A R/W, R/P build both utilizes pets relatively well.

Any bog standard Barrage build works with a pet.
But, you seem to be asking about Beast master builds - to which I would say ... any BM build warrants the use of a pet, by definition.
But, what I think you are really asking is if there is some uber build that requires a pet, to which I would say .... who knows, who cares? Why does it always have to be the "best" build? Can't it just simply "work" and/or be "fun"?
